New Rainbow Education Workshop

Rainbow Tick has added another workshop to its education offerings for 2024.

This workshop titled 'Cultural Identities' will explore the relationships and complexity of identity and cultural dynamics in relation to Rainbow Communities.

It will offer insights into intersectionality, referring to the ways in which different aspects of a person's identity such as ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age, disabilities, socioeconomic status and more, can expose individuals to overlapping, interdependent and unique systems of social experience, discrimination or disadvantage.  Understanding intersectionality can help to promote a more inclusive environment where all individuals can thrive, regardless of their multiple identities.
