As Tangata Tiriti, our role as researchers and kaiako is to ensure our research practices honour the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. In turn, these practices are modelled and taught to our ākonga. This workshop introduces and provides opportunities to discuss the following topics:

  • An overview of indigenous worldviews and research approaches.
  • The principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how these are applied to research approaches.
  • What is Rangahau?
  • What is Te Ara Tika?
