NEED: To commemorate the 100th anniversary of World War 1, Otago Museum commissioned an exhibition about the nurses from Otago who served overseas.

CAPABILITIES: COMMUNICATION DESIGN & TECHNOLOGIES, PROTOTYPING, INTERACTIVE DESIGN

SOLUTION: Our third-year Communication Design students worked with staff to produce “Who Cared?”. Based on a New Zealand field hospital, the exhibition draws on descriptions and incidents from the stories of three real nurses.

IMPACT: The exhibition is at Otago Museum from 26 September 2015 until 31 January 2016. It offers the public an increased insight into what it was like behind the front line, for more than just soldiers.
