10m² building

NEED: Buildings larger than 10m2 require local authority consent, so the 2014 Sustainable Habitat Challenge was to design a 10m2 building that incorporated sustainability.

CAPABILITIES: SUSTAINABLE BUILDING, BUILDING PRACTICES 

SOLUTION: A team of four students took up the challenge and designed Studio 56, a break-out space for our Dunedin campus.

IMPACT: The team won this national design award, and their building is going to be used on our Dunedin campus.
